1.2 RET Component Functions
The product descriptions shown below are numbered in relation to how each component is labeled
in Figures 1-1 and 1-2.
Actuator
A motor that tilts the antenna beam by moving a rod, which adjusts the phase relationship among
the antenna elements.
RET Cable Assembly
Allows data, tilt commands, and power to be sent to and from the actuator by the controller.
Antenna Controller
Provides an interface, for the user to send commands to the actuator, as well as confi gure the actu-
ator. The ATC200-LITE and ATC200-LITE-USB controllers are portable. Whereas, the ATC200-1000
and ATC300-1000 controllers are rack mounted at the site and can be addressed to be accessed
over a local area network.
